it is all in how it has been maintained. TTZ's are extremely complex cars mechanically and electronically and if the car has not been fanatically maintained there are many areas for potential problems. sensors and their connectors have corrosion problems that can cause a myriad of weird symptoms. If car's owner didnt observe proper warm up and cool down procedures for turbos and do oil changes every 3-5k miles then early turbo failure is possible. It really depends upon the cars owner(s). make absolutely sure you buy a car that has ALL maintenance records since day 1. Also, do not even consider buying a car until you have had a compression test and leakdown test done first! I can honestly say that I have not been impressed with the overall reliability of stock components on my particular TTZ. many stock components have failed that have had nothing to do with performance modifications. Both Porsches I owned were far cheaper to maintain. That being said, I absloutely love the car anyway, the looks and performance are well worth it.
